Automotive Keys 2002-2017 Nissan Infiniti / 4-Button Flip Key Vancouver

Plenty of Nissan and Infiniti owners carry two things: a chipped ignition key and a separate four-button remote. This flip key combines them. The blade folds into a four-button remote, typically lock, unlock, trunk and panic, and the transponder for the immobiliser sits inside the same case. It is an aftermarket design rather than a factory key on most of these models, and it suits people tired of a bulky ring or whose original remote has given up. It does exactly what the two separate pieces did, once programmed. Matching it to the car takes a little care, because Nissan used different blades, chips and remote frequencies over fifteen years. We check your vehicle first, using the VIN or your existing key and remote. Ask us to confirm for your trim/year before buying. Then three steps, all at the vehicle: cut the folding blade on our code machine, register the transponder to the immobiliser (which on Nissans usually involves retrieving the security PIN), and pair the remote buttons. Bring the registration and your photo ID. Owners with one working key have the easiest version of this job, and if every key is gone we originate one at the car.
