A staff member left with keys.
We rekey the cylinders on your master system so the old key stops working.
Rekey 02Too many people can get in.
A restricted master key system, so each person opens only their doors.
Master keys 03The panic bar stopped latching.
Exit devices and closers repaired or replaced to code.
Door hardware 04New lease, every lock on the old key.
Every cylinder taken off the last tenant's key in one visit.
Rekey 05A suite turnover in our building.
We hold the keying chart, so a turnover is a phone call, not a survey.
Strata 06The business safe won't open.
TL-15 and TL-30 safes opened, non-destructive first.
SafesWe price commercial work per door, because a back-office deadbolt and a storefront mortise lock are different jobs. The technician who surveys the building is usually the one who comes back to service it.
Binding cylinders, unreturned keys, a new tenancy, a file room that should not share the front-door key. Rekeying runs $25-$45 per cylinder, or $60-$120 per cylinder on a restricted keyway. A new lock is $80-$380 per door, depending on the hardware.
One key per person that opens exactly their doors, and a master that opens everything. Pricing is from $300 setup plus $30-$80 per cylinder ($60-$200 restricted). We survey first, agree the keying chart, then convert in stages so the building keeps working.
We're an authorized Mul-T-Lock dealer, so we can register a Mul-T-Lock keyway to your building and cut its keys here.
We keep the chart and record who holds which key. On a restricted keyway the blank is controlled, so a copy needs written authorization from a named person. Restricted keys are cut to code for $30-$80.
Common doors, mailbox banks, storage cages and suite turnovers. We keep the building's keying chart on file, and for council meetings we put the options and costs in writing first. Mailbox locks are $40-$140.
Business lockouts start at $80-$160 in standard hours, and we answer 24/7. A mortise lock, panic hardware, roll shutter or electric strike is quoted higher. We check that you are entitled to the space before we open it.
Published rates from the prices page. Quoted in writing before work starts.
