Not every Camry or Corolla from these years came with a combined key and remote. Many had a separate fob on the key ring, a small four-button remote that only works the doors, trunk and alarm, plus a plain key for the ignition. That is what this is. It contains a transmitter and a battery, no blade and no transponder. It cannot start the car, and losing it does not stop you driving, but it is the difference between unlocking from across the parking lot and fumbling with the lock in the rain. If you are not sure which style you have, look at your keys. A remote head key has buttons on the key itself. This remote is a separate piece that hangs off the ring. The work is pairing it to the car's keyless entry receiver. There is no cutting involved. We do it with the vehicle present, and while we are there we can check that any existing remotes are still paired, since adding a new one can drop old ones on some systems. If your plain ignition key is also worn or you want a spare, we can cut and program that too, so bring both if you can.
