Automotive Keys 2019-2020 GMC Sierra / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

GMC's redesigned Sierra came out for 2019, and with it a proximity fob that most owners never take out of their pocket. This listing matches the five button version from the first two years of that truck. Expect lock, unlock, remote start, a tailgate button and panic, though the exact icons depend on how your Sierra was optioned, so compare it with your current fob. Here is a detail that trips people up. In 2019 GMC also sold the previous Sierra as a Limited model, and those trucks use a different key. If yours is a 2019, we will check which body you have, from a photo or the VIN, before programming. For programming, the Sierra needs to be present. We connect through the diagnostic port and add the new fob to the truck's list. If a fob went missing on a job site, we can drop it from that list while we are connected so it can no longer start the truck. The fob also holds a mechanical key for the driver's door. It does not start the truck, but it is the way in when the battery has died. We cut it to your lock. Please bring the registration and photo ID to the counter or have them ready for our mobile visit.
