Tools & Hardware Weiser Lock Bed & Bath Vancouver

Bedroom and bathroom doors need privacy, not a key, and that is what this Weiser Bed & Bath lever provides. The inside has a thumb-turn to lock it, and the outside has an emergency release so a parent can open the door if a child locks themselves in. There is no keyed cylinder, so it is not meant for exterior doors or anywhere you need real security. The lever is reversible, so the same set works on left-hand and right-hand doors. The latch adjusts between a 2-3/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch backset, which covers most standard interior doors, and it fits doors from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick. Measure from the edge of the door to the centre of the existing hole to check your backset before buying. Ask about finishes when you order, as the available finish depends on stock. Installation on a door already bored for a standard lever is a simple swap. If the door is new and undrilled, or the old hardware left oversized holes, we can bore it or fit a cover plate. Drop by our shop on Macdonald St to see the lever in person, or call 604-734-7233 to book an installation.
