Key Blanks 1594 Vancouver

When one key runs several locks, say the front door, back door and garage, those locks are keyed alike, and a single copy cut on a 1594 blank can do the work of three. It also means a lost key opens all of them, which is worth keeping in mind. If you are not sure whether your locks are keyed alike, try your key in each one. If it fits some but not others, you may have a mix of profiles, or locks that were keyed alike once and rekeyed separately later. Bring every key you use and we will sort out which ones share the 1594 profile. Cutting a copy means tracing your best working key, cleaning up the edges, and comparing the copy with the original. If the keys have worn unevenly, decoding the cuts and cutting to code gives a sharper key. Want every door on one key? That is a rekey, and we can do it. Visit 4105 Macdonald St or call to ask.
