GM moved a large part of its lineup to the HU100 around the start of the 2010s, so if you drive a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac from that era with a flip key, there is a good chance this is your blade. Instead of notches along the edges, HU100 has a wavy track milled into the flat face of the blade, sometimes called internal or sidewinder cut. This loose HU100 blade is also listed as OP-11 and catalogued as #35 (supplier ref MFK-035). It is the metal only, for replacing a snapped or worn blade in a GM flip key or for building a new key with a separate head. Track-style keys cannot be cut on a standard edge duplicator. We cut them on a code machine that mills the track to the correct depths, either from a code or from decoding your existing key or the door lock. There is no chip in the blade, so the remote head carries the immobiliser part. If all keys are lost, we do the job at the car and program a new one; have the registration and your ID ready.
