Cases on Chrysler-group fobs usually give out before the electronics do. The seam opens, the button pad hardens and splits in the cold, or the ring loop snaps off. As long as the buttons still work when you press directly on the board, a new shell solves the problem without touching the vehicle. This housing has three buttons: lock, unlock and panic. It comes empty. We open your old fob, move the circuit board into the new case, and close it up. Your vehicle already knows that board, so no programming is involved and the vehicle can stay at home. The 2004 to 2011 span covers several fob styles. Some have a slot for an emergency key, and some are the fob-style key that pushes into the dash on later vehicles. Put your old fob next to this one before ordering, or ask us to confirm for your trim and year. If pressing the board does nothing, the board or its battery has failed, not the case.
