Automotive Keys 2004-2015 Volvo / S60 / S80 / V70 / XC70 / XC90 / Flip Key Vancouver

This version is for Volvo owners who need the ignition function without a remote. It is a flip-style housing with a Megamos ID48 transponder for the S60, S80, V70, XC70 and XC90, made by KeylessFactory. It has no battery and no buttons, so it will not lock or unlock the doors remotely. One detail to know before ordering: the folding blade is not included. The housing needs a Volvo blade fitted and cut to your locks, which we supply and cut on our code machine. Ask us when you order so we have the right blade ready. Once assembled, the ID48 chip is programmed to the car so the immobiliser accepts it. That happens with the Volvo present, along with its registration and your photo ID. This makes a sensible spare for a second driver who does not need the remote, or a key to leave with a garage. It also works when only the remote part of an old key has died and you need the car to start reliably. We can do all of it at 4105 Macdonald St or at the vehicle.
