BMW put this rounded 4-button key on a wide range of models between 2014 and 2018, from small hatchbacks to the X SUVs. Lock, unlock, trunk and panic are on the face, with a release on the end that frees a metal insert for the door. Whether your BMW has comfort access or not, the fob still has to be coded to the car before it does anything. That coding is the core of the job.
