Automotive Keys 2018-2020 GMC Terrain / 3-Button Smart Key Vancouver

This listing extends the Terrain three button fob to the 2020 model year, which matters if your Terrain is a 2020 and you are hunting for an exact match. The layout stays the same: lock, unlock and panic, for Terrains with push start and without remote start or a power liftgate. How can you be sure? Check the start method first. If you turn a key on the steering column, this is not your key. Then look at the fob: three buttons, no circular arrow for remote start, no liftgate icon. Terrains often serve as a family's second vehicle, and the fob gets shared, dropped and left in jacket pockets. Water damage from a run through the washing machine is surprisingly common. If the fob still locks and unlocks but the car says no key detected, a weak battery is the first suspect; if a fresh battery does not fix it, the fob itself is likely the problem. A new fob gets its emergency blade cut to your lock, and then it is paired at the Terrain through the diagnostic port. Please have the registration and photo ID ready, whether you visit the shop or we come out to the vehicle.
