Automotive Keys 2017-2023 GMC Acadia Terrain / 3-Button Smart Key Remote Vancouver

GMC used one compact fob layout on two of its crossovers in this period, the Acadia and the Terrain. That is handy if a household has one of each, but it does not mean one remote will run both. Each vehicle stores its own list of fobs, so every remote is programmed to a single vehicle. You can spot this remote by its three buttons, lock, unlock and panic, and by the fact that your crossover starts with a push button rather than a key in a column. If you see a remote start arrow or a liftgate icon on your existing fob, you need a different version. Common reasons for buying it: a fob that went through the wash, a cracked case after a drop in a parking lot, or a used vehicle that came with only one remote. The case hides a slide-out emergency blade, and we cut it so the driver's door opens without power. On programming day we need the crossover itself, its registration and your photo ID. We can do it at the counter or on a mobile call. Adding a fob while another still works is faster than an all-keys-lost job.
