Automotive Keys 2019-2023 Mazda CX-3 CX-5 CX-9/ 3-Button Smart Key Vancouver

One fob, three crossovers. Mazda used the same three button smart key across the CX-3, the CX-5 and the CX-9 from 2019 to 2023, so this listing covers all three and the badge on the tailgate does not change the part. The buttons are lock, unlock and the rear hatch, and the fob is a proximity key in Mazda's Advanced Keyless system: it stays in your pocket, the door opens on a touch of the handle, and the engine starts from the dash button. There is a flat emergency blade concealed in the fob for the door, and that blade is the only mechanical element; it is cut to your lock, while the fob itself is registered to the car electronically. Of the three, the CX-5 is the Mazda that brings us the most calls, nearly always for a fob that vanished somewhere between a parkade and a beach. Adding a spare while you still hold one is a single programming session with the vehicle. Losing both is a longer appointment in which the immobiliser is read at the car, a fresh fob is written to it and the lost one is voided so it can never open or start the vehicle again. This is routine work for an independent shop like ours and we do it in house. Please do not mistake this page for a shell. A shell is the housing and button pad on their own, with no circuit inside, and it is the economical answer when your existing fob has cracked at the corner or the lettering has worn off the rubber but the electronics still perform; this page is the complete fob with the board. The vehicle needs to be at 4105 Macdonald St in Vancouver for the pairing, or we can meet it where it sits, and you need the registration and your driver's licence with you. Ring 604-734-7233 with the model and year so we can pull the right unit before you arrive.
