Automotive Keys 2021-2024 Chevrolet Silverado / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Silverado owners who have push button start carry a fob like this, and on most trucks its five buttons are lock, unlock, remote start, panic and a tailgate control. That tailgate button is the giveaway: if your truck has a power or remote-release tailgate, this is the layout you are after. Silverados with a turn ignition use a different key entirely, and a few trims use a four-button fob, so look at the one you have or ask us to confirm. Work trucks see hard use, and the problems we see most are fobs dropped from a ladder, cases cracked open, and buttons that no longer click. A replacement key needs two things done. We cut the emergency blade that hides in the fob so you can open the door if the battery dies, and we program the fob to the truck, which needs the Silverado on site plus your registration and photo ID. Adding a spare to a truck with one working key is faster than starting over after losing them all, so it is worth having two before you need them. We can meet the truck at a job site or you can bring it to 4105 Macdonald St.
