Automotive Keys 2022-2023 GMC Terrain / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

The Terrain is GMC's compact SUV, and the 2022-2023 models with keyless start use this five-button fob. On most of them the buttons are lock, unlock, power liftgate, remote start and panic. If yours has no liftgate button, your Terrain probably has a manual hatch and a different key. The Terrain's keyless system is the kind that lets you leave the fob in a pocket. It is also strict: the engine will not start unless the fob it detects has been programmed to that particular vehicle, which is why buying a used fob online and expecting it to work rarely goes well. We supply a new key, cut the emergency blade to your door, and program the fob at the vehicle once we have seen the registration and your photo ID. Common reasons Terrain owners call: a fob lost at a hockey rink or on a hike, a key chewed by the dog, or a second driver in the household who needs their own. Each of those is easier if one working fob is left. You can reach us at 604-734-7233, or come by the shop on Macdonald St with the SUV.
