Key Blanks 1131 Vancouver

Ordering several keys at once raises a practical question: how will you tell them apart? If you are cutting a handful of 1131 keys for different doors or different people, think about coloured caps or tags before you leave the shop. It sounds minor, but plenty of lockouts start with someone grabbing the wrong lookalike key. Before any cutting, we compare your key to the 1131 profile. The grooves along the side and the length from shoulder to tip must match, or the key will not enter. Once that is confirmed, we trace your key, remove the burrs and check each copy against the original. If the copies are for a business and the number of keys in circulation matters, keep a record of who holds each one. If you ever lose track, rekeying the cylinder is cheaper in the long run than wondering who can still get in. Bring your key to 4105 Macdonald St, tell us how many copies you need, and we will cut and check them.
