Key Blanks 1545 Vancouver

Not every key cut on a 1545 happens at the shop. When the lock itself is the only reference, for instance a door with no working key, we can attend on a mobile call and work from the lock, then cut and test the new key right there in the door. Testing in the actual cylinder is the most reliable check there is. For a routine copy, the counter is simpler. Bring your key, we confirm it matches the 1545 profile by comparing the grooves and length, then trace it and finish the edges. If the original is worn, we can decode it and cut to the intended depths. It helps to know which locks the key operates before you come in. If one key runs a front door and a deadbolt, check both work smoothly with it. A copy can only be as good as the lock it goes into. Our counter is at 4105 Macdonald St. For a mobile visit, call 604-734-7233 and tell us about the door and lock.
