Key Blanks 1574 Vancouver

Double cylinder deadbolts, the kind with a keyhole on both sides of the door, catch people out. Everyone in the house needs a key to get out as well as in, so a household usually needs more copies than they expect. If your deadbolt key matches the 1574 profile, those spares are a quick counter job. We confirm the match first by checking the groove pattern and length against your key. Then we trace it, deburr it and compare the copy to the original. Try the new key on both sides of the lock when you get home; the cylinders should feel the same. It is worth keeping a key near a double cylinder deadbolt inside the house, out of reach from the glass, so nobody is stuck hunting for one in a hurry. If a deadbolt is stiff or the key only works from one side, that is a lock issue rather than a key issue, and we can look at it. Our number is 604-734-7233.
