Locks 105669 GRADE 2 LEVERSET (EXIT) Vancouver

Exit function levers are for doors that should never lock someone in. There is no key and no locking button: the lever on the inside always opens the door. Depending on how it is set up, the outside may be a fixed or dummy trim, which is ask-us-to-confirm territory for your door. The 105669 is a Grade 2 leverset in a silver finish. Grade 2 is the middle of the BHMA durability scale, a common choice for light commercial doors and busy residential ones. Typical spots for an exit function lever include corridor doors, back-of-house doors, and storage rooms where staff need to get out without fumbling for a key. Levers are also easier to use than knobs for anyone with limited grip strength, which is one reason they show up in accessible design. Measure the backset, bore size and door thickness before you buy, or let us check it when we install. If the door actually needs to lock from outside, an entry or storeroom function is what you want instead. Call 604-734-7233 or visit 4105 Macdonald St to talk it through.
