Mitsubishi key and fob replacement in Vancouver

Mitsubishi has a small dealer network here, which makes an independent option worth knowing about before you need one. A blade transponder key for a Lancer, Mirage, older Outlander or RVR is $180-$280 cut and programmed. A proximity smart key for an Eclipse Cross, an Outlander PHEV or a newer Outlander and RVR is $280-$420. All keys lost starts from $180.

We carry the blanks and the programmer, so the work happens at the car. Most Vancouver calls are 20 to 30 minutes from the shop at 4105 Macdonald St. The published bands are on the price list, and the car key replacement page is the same work for every other make.

Standard hours are a $75 service call. Evening labour is $150 to 9 pm, then $250/hour until 8:30 am the next morning.

Lancer cylinders and immobiliser relearns

The Lancer key that turns but does nothing

Worn cylinders on the Lancer let the key turn while the lock stops engaging properly. It reads as an electrical fault and it is mechanical. We replace the cylinder and recode it to your key where the lock allows; that is ignition repair.

No-start codes that are not the key

The Outlander immobiliser occasionally throws a no-start that a relearn cycle clears. Diagnosing that first is cheaper than replacing a key that was never faulty.

Proximity fob cells
