• Service address and service details (to dispatch a technician and complete the work).
• Vehicle information for automotive locksmith calls (year, make, model, VIN — used to source the correct key blank and verify ownership).
• Proof of ownership for car key replacement and all-keys-lost work (registration or title — viewed and returned, not retained).
• Payment information processed on-site by the technician's wireless terminal or in-shop terminal. Payment data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and is not stored on our systems.
• Website analytics — pages visited, browser type, IP address, referral source — collected automatically through Google Analytics. This information is aggregated and not tied to individual identities.

We use personal information for the purpose for which you provided it. Specifically:

• To dispatch a technician, complete the service call, and follow up on the work performed.
• To send appointment confirmations, service reminders, and invoices.
• To respond to questions, quotes, and contact-form submissions.
• To maintain a service history so future calls reference past work (rekeys, master-key registries, restricted-keyway authorizations).
• To comply with legal obligations under the BC Security Services Act, including verifying ownership before cutting car keys or rekeying restricted systems.
• To improve our website and service quality through aggregated analytics.

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the service you contacted us about, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

We share personal information only in limited circumstances:

• Payment processors — to process credit card and Interac payments. Our processor is PCI-DSS compliant and handles only the data required to complete the transaction.
• Restricted-keyway manufacturers (Mul-T-Lock, Medeco, Abloy) — when you sign up for a restricted-keyway system, the manufacturer maintains the key registry under your name. This is required to enforce your key control rights.
• Law enforcement — only if compelled by a valid legal order (court order, search warrant) or where disclosure is required to prevent imminent harm.
• Insurance and audit — our insurer and auditor may review records that include customer information under confidentiality obligations.

We never share customer information with marketers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Withdraw consent for future use of your information (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations under the Security Services Act).
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).
