GM's B97 PK3 key fits a long list of Buicks, Cadillacs, Chevrolets and Pontiacs from roughly 1997 to 2008. The B97 part is the blade; the PK3 is the transponder in the head, part of GM's Passkey 3 system. If your GM key has a black plastic head with no resistor pellet in the blade, and the car is from this era, this is a likely match. PK3 cars are friendly to owners who still have a working key. On many of them, a new key can be learned with an on-board procedure once it has been cut.
