Automotive Keys 2000-2003 BMW 5 6 7 Z3 Series / 3-Button Remote Head Key Vancouver

Not every BMW of the early 2000s takes the same key, and this listing narrows the field to the larger sedans and the Z3 roadster. It is a three-button remote head key, with lock, unlock and trunk, a laser-cut blade and the EWS transponder built in. Z3 owners in particular tend to have a single key that has lived a hard life in a convertible, through sun and rain. If the buttons have gone sticky or the case has faded and cracked, you are the person this listing was written for. Before you order, check the shape. The 5 and 7 Series of this era and the Z3 used keys that look alike but may differ in blade and internal electronics from model to model, so give us the series and year, or simply ask us to confirm for your trim/year. The same goes for the 6 Series named in the listing title; we will match it to the car in front of us. Setting up the key means cutting the blade by code and synchronising the key with the car's EWS module, with the vehicle present. We will need the registration and your photo ID. The shop is at 4105 Macdonald St, and we also come to the car.
