Automotive Keys 2000-2009 BMW HU92 2 Track Transponder Key SHELL Vancouver

The plain black HU92 BMW key has a thin plastic head that cracks with age, and once the blade comes loose the transponder is at risk of falling out. If yours is in that state but the car still starts, this shell is the inexpensive repair. It is a new head and an uncut HU92 two-track blade, with no transponder inside. We open the old key, move the chip into the new shell, and cut the blade on our code machine to match your car. Because the transponder is the original one, the EWS system carries on recognising it, so nothing needs to be reprogrammed. There are limits. If the chip is lost, cracked or has stopped being recognised, a shell will not bring it back, and you need a full transponder key synchronised to the car. And this is for the plain key only; if your BMW key has remote buttons, it uses a different case. We are happy to do the swap at the counter. Bring the old key, even if it is in two pieces.
