Ford's remote head key, a black key with the buttons moulded into the head, rode along on F-150s, Escapes, Explorers, Fusions, Mustangs and their Lincoln and Mercury cousins for well over a decade. This four-button version usually carries lock, unlock, trunk or liftgate, and panic. The fourth button is the detail to check.
