Automotive Keys 2001-2006 Mitsubishi - MIT13 - Transponder Key Vancouver

Mitsubishi's MIT13 blade replaced the longer MIT9 on many models in the early 2000s, and on 2001 to 2006 vehicles it is often paired with a Texas 4D61 chip. This ILCO key, cross-referenced as MIT13, carries that combination. Lancers, Outlanders and Galants of the period are frequent customers. There is also an N-stamped MIT13 in our shop, and the two are easy to confuse. The difference lies in the chip and which models take it, so matching the key to your car comes first. Read us the VIN, or ask us to confirm for your trim/year. When the key arrives at the car, the process runs in two stages. First, we cut the MIT13 blade on our code machine, from your existing key or from code. Then the 4D61 chip is registered to the car with our programmer, which handles the PIN step Mitsubishi requires. Bring the car, ownership and photo ID. With a working key, adding a spare is straightforward; with none, we originate a key at the vehicle. And if your old key still works but the head is splitting, get the spare done now, before you are stuck in a parking lot.
