Jaguar flip keys of this era are lovely when new and fragile when old. The pivot cracks, the release button sticks, and the case halves start to gap at the seam. If your key still locks, unlocks and starts the car, there is no need to replace the electronics, and this shell lets you keep them. The shell is the four-button case (lock, unlock, panic and trunk) with an aftermarket flip blade fitted, made for keys under FCC IDs NHVWB1U241, NHVWBIU241 and CWTWB1U243 and part numbers in the 1X43-15K601 range. There is no circuit board inside and the back carries no Jaguar logo. Your board and transponder chip move across from the old key. Once the parts are in, we cut the blade to your car on our Tibbe machine and test the remote and ignition. Because the electronics are your originals, the car accepts them without programming.
