Automotive Keys 2004-2013 Volvo / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Volvo's five-button remote key of these years is a slim fob with lock, unlock, lights, trunk and panic. The lights button turns on the approach lighting so you can see the car in a dark parkade. This one is brand new original equipment, listed under FCC ID KR55WK49250, operating at 434 MHz on a CR2430 battery, with part number 31252732 and an aftermarket emergency key included. That emergency key is a short mechanical blade that clips into the fob. It is for the door when the fob cell or the car battery is dead, and we cut it to your lock on a code machine. The fob itself has to be added to the car's key system. Volvo programming is done with diagnostic equipment at the vehicle, so bring the car, the registration and your photo ID, plus any working key you have. If all keys are gone, we do that at the car too. These fobs drain their cell faster than you might expect, and a weak CR2430 is the most common reason a Volvo key starts acting up. Try a fresh one first, then call 604-734-7233 if it is still unresponsive.
