Automotive Keys 2004-2014 Volvo S/V/XC Series - Flip Key Vancouver

Volvo's S, V and XC models of these years use an NE66P keyway, a laser-cut style blade with a groove milled into its face rather than notches along the edge. This listing is the original Volvo flip key blank in that profile, part number 31253386, listed as Ilco NE66P and JMA NE-40.P, with a Megamos ID48 transponder chip. It is a key blank, not a remote. Think of it as the ignition key half of the system: cut to your locks, programmed so the immobiliser recognises the ID48, and ready to start the car. If your Volvo uses a separate remote or a remote key, that is a different part. Cutting this blade takes a machine that mills the internal track; a standard edge-cut copier cannot do it. We cut it on our code machine from your existing key or from code. Programming the Megamos chip to the car happens with the Volvo present, along with the registration and your photo ID. A spare made while one key works is the quickest version; if all keys are gone, we cut by code and program it at the car.
