Automotive Keys 2005-2007 Infiniti G35 / 4-Button Prox Smart Key Vancouver

The G35 of these years was one of the first cars many people owned with a proximity key. The fob stays in a pocket or bag, the doors unlock with a touch on the handle, and the engine starts with a button. The four buttons are typically lock, unlock, trunk and panic. Inside the fob is a short emergency blade, released by a slide on the back. It is the only way to open the door when the fob battery is flat or the car battery has died, and it needs to be cut to your door lock. We do that on our code machine. The proximity part is programmed to the car at the vehicle with diagnostic equipment. The car must be present, along with the registration and your photo ID. Coupes and sedans of these years did not always share the same fob, so ask us to confirm for your trim and year before ordering. If your G35 is not detecting its key, and the dash warns you, a weak fob battery is the usual cause. Hold the fob close to the start button and try again; then replace the battery before deciding the key itself is faulty.
