Infiniti intelligent keys are well made, but after years of use the case gets scuffed, the buttons go soft and the seams start to open. The electronics are often still perfectly fine. This is the empty three-button case for those fobs: lock, unlock and panic, without the trunk button of the four-button style. It has no board, no chip and no battery. We open your fob, transfer the board into the new case, and check that every button and the push-button start still work. The car already knows the board, so there is no programming and no visit to the car is needed for the swap. Is a shell the right fix? Only if the board still works. If your fob opens the doors and starts the engine, a new case will make it look and feel new. If the car no longer detects it, even with a new battery, the board has likely failed, and you need a complete smart key. While the fob is apart, we can cut a new emergency blade if yours is missing or worn. Bring your old fob to the counter so we can match the case to your board.
