Our listing covers 2007 to 2017 and is a close cousin of the 2006 to 2016 version; which one you need depends on the frequency and part number of your original. To find that, flip your old fob over. GM remotes usually have an FCC ID and part number on the back. A photo is enough for us to match it. The four buttons on most versions are lock, unlock, panic and either trunk, liftgate or remote start. If your vehicle was not built with remote start, choose a fob without it. Pairing is the only work involved. There is no blade to cut and no chip to program. Many GM vehicles program remotes in a single session, and any fob not present at that time may stop working, so bring all the remotes you plan to keep.
