Automotive Keys 2011-2013 Infiniti QX56 / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

The QX56 of 2011 to 2013 was the first of the big Patrol-based Infinitis, and its key is a four-button intelligent key: lock, unlock, rear liftgate and panic, with a mechanical key tucked inside. You keep it in a pocket or bag and the vehicle does the rest, unlocking at the door handle and starting from the button on the dash. Getting a new intelligent key working involves registering it to the vehicle's keyless system, which we can only do with the QX56 in front of us. We will also cut the hidden metal key to your driver's door, since that is the only way in if the fob battery dies or the vehicle battery goes flat over a long winter in the driveway. A clue you have this exact fob: it is a rounded, fairly large Infiniti key with no blade showing, and the liftgate button sits apart from the lock and unlock pair. A later QX80 fob looks close but is not always the same, so ask us to confirm for your model year. If every key is lost, we still cut and program one at the vehicle; mention it when you call so we come prepared.
