The ACJ932HK1210A smart key, and how we set one up.
Higher trims of the 2013 to 2015 Accord and Civic went keyless: a smart key in the pocket, a start button on the dash. This four-button fob is the one for those cars, with lock, unlock, trunk and panic buttons and a hidden blade for the door. If your Honda has a keyhole in the steering column, the remote head key listing is the one you want instead. New fobs are registered to the car with it present, so it can tell the fob is inside before allowing a start. We cut the hidden key to your door lock as part of the visit. A fob that fails slowly is common on these cars: first one button needs a firm press, then the car sometimes cannot find it. Replacing the coin cell often fixes both, so try that first. If the fob is broken or lost, we make a new one at the car, with or without another working key. Registration and photo ID needed.
