Automotive Keys 2016-2020 Chevrolet Camaro / 6-Button Smart Key Vancouver

The sixth-generation Camaro arrived for 2016, and its push-start cars use a six-button proximity fob. Beyond lock, unlock, trunk and panic, the extra buttons on a Camaro fob usually cover remote start and, on convertibles, a top or window function. Coupe and convertible fobs can differ, as can fobs for different trims, so check your original's buttons closely and ask us to confirm with your VIN. Camaro owners often store the car for the winter, and a fob left in a drawer for months can come back with a flat battery. If the car will not see your key in spring, a fresh coin cell is the first thing to try. If the key is truly gone or broken, this replacement is programmed to the Camaro with the car present; we can come to your garage, which is handy if the car is not ready to drive. The mechanical key inside is cut to the driver's door, because that is your way in when the fob or the car battery is dead. Registration and photo ID are needed. Call 604-734-7233 to set it up.
