Automotive Keys 2019-2022 Chevrolet Sonic Trax Spark / 4-Button Flip Key Vancouver

Chevrolet's three smallest models in these years, the Spark, the Sonic and the Trax crossover, share this four button folding key. Most of them start with a turned key, which is where this listing applies. The buttons usually read lock, unlock, trunk or hatch, and panic. A Trax or Sonic with remote start may carry a different layout, so compare the icons first. These are often first cars, and first cars lose keys. Students and new drivers hang them from lanyards, toss them in bags and use them to open boxes. The result is a split housing or a blade that will not lock open. Replacing the key also gives you a fresh battery and fresh buttons. Please do not rely on a cheap copied blade. The car's immobiliser checks a transponder in the key head, and without it the engine will not start. We cut your new blade from the code on our machine and then program the chip and the remote at the car. The Spark, Sonic or Trax needs to be present, with the registration and photo ID. If no working key is left, we can still make one at the vehicle. We do this at 4105 Macdonald St or on a mobile call.
