Automotive Keys 2019-2022 Dodge Ram Pickup HD 2500-5500 / 4-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Four buttons on a Heavy Duty Ram fob means the truck has one extra feature beyond lock, unlock and panic, and it is usually remote start. For a 2500 to 5500 from 2019 to 2022 with push start and remote start but no power tailgate, this is the fob you want. Diesel owners lean on remote start more than most, because it lets the engine warm up before a cold morning drive. When that button stops working, people tend to notice right away. Before you replace the fob, try a new battery; a weak cell can make remote start fail first while lock and unlock still work. If a new battery does not help, the fob needs replacing. The four button fob covers a long run of model years, and we will confirm against your truck before programming. The job happens at the truck, where we connect to the diagnostic port and add the fob. If there is a fob nobody can account for, we can remove it during the same visit. Inside the fob is a mechanical key that opens the driver's door. We cut it on a code machine to your lock. Bring the registration and photo ID, or have them ready for a mobile visit.
