The NSN11T2 transponder key for 1999 Nissan and Infiniti models, cut to your locks and programmed to the immobiliser.

1999 was a transition year at Nissan and Infiniti, with transponder keys arriving on more models, which is why this NSN11T2 key is listed for that single year. NSN11 is the blade profile; the T2 suffix marks the transponder version of it, as opposed to a plain metal key on the same blade. That distinction trips people up. A hardware store can cut an NSN11 blank that fits the ignition and turns it, but without the chip the engine will not stay running. If your 1999 Nissan or Infiniti has an immobiliser, it needs this chipped version, programmed to the car. To program it, the vehicle has to be present. Nissan systems of this age generally require the security code, which our equipment can retrieve, and adding a key may clear and re-register the keys the car knows. Bring every key you want to keep using, so they can be included. We cut the blade from your existing key or from the lock code, at our Macdonald Street shop or on a mobile visit. Bring the ownership and your photo ID. If you are unsure whether your car has an immobiliser at all, ask us to confirm for your trim/year; some 1999 models did not, and they only need a cut key.
