The INF45 Infiniti transponder key with a 4C chip for 1997 to 2001 models, cut and programmed to your car.

Late-1990s Infinitis such as the I30, QX4 and Q45 started the shift to chipped keys, and the INF45 blank with a 4C transponder is the key many of them use. The INF45 reference describes the blade profile; the 4C describes the chip family the immobiliser expects to see. Get either one wrong and the key will not work, which is why we match both to your exact vehicle. You can usually spot this key by its plain black head and the Infiniti blade profile. Some of these cars came with a separate keyless remote on the ring; that is a different part and this listing is the ignition key only. Cars of this age often have a tired original key with a blade worn down by two decades of use. We cut new INF45 keys to the factory code rather than copying wear into the new one, so it turns the way it did when the car was new. After cutting, the 4C chip is introduced to the car with our programming equipment, which needs the vehicle present plus the registration and photo ID. If you have lost every key, that is still a job we take on, mobile or at the shop. Phone us at 604-734-7233 with the model and year so we can confirm the INF45 is right for it.
