The NBG92596263 flip key, and how we set one up.
Drop a Volkswagen flip key on concrete enough times and one of two things gives: the blade's pivot or the solder joints on the board. When the pivot goes, the blade swings loose; when the board goes, the remote stops working even with a new battery. Either way, the key has reached the end.
This replacement covers 2005 to 2011 Volkswagens using the four-button folding key, with lock, unlock, trunk and panic. The blade is the internally milled Volkswagen-Audi profile, which we cut on a code machine. If your old blade is worn, cutting to code gives a cleaner result than copying.
