This listing is just the blade that folds into the remote body. The swap is straightforward. We remove the damaged blade from your flip head, fit this one in its place, and cut it on our code machine to match your ignition and doors. Cutting by code is often better than copying a badly worn blade, since it restores the original depths. Since the transponder and the remote board stay in your existing head, the car does not need to learn anything new. On most of these keys no programming is involved, but confirm with us if your blade carried anything other than metal. If the hinge itself is broken, a blade alone may not stay put, and a shell or a complete flip key may be the better buy. We will tell you which once we see it.
