Automotive Keys 2012-2018 Land Rover / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Evoque and Discovery owners from 2012 to 2018 mostly carry this five-button proximity key. Leave it in a pocket and the vehicle unlocks when you grip the handle and starts with the button. The five buttons usually cover lock, unlock, tailgate, panic and the approach lights, though layouts vary. Unlike the shared Jaguar and Land Rover listings, this one is for Land Rover alone, and Land Rover changed key systems more than once during these years. That is why we ask for the VIN or a photo of the back of your fob; it saves ordering a key the vehicle will not accept. Once you have the correct fob, we register it to the vehicle with it parked at our shop or at your place, then cut the emergency blade to the driver's door. With a working key on hand the job is shorter, and with none we still do it at the vehicle. Land Rovers left parked for a few weeks can lose their twelve-volt charge, so that hidden blade is worth having cut properly. Bring registration and photo ID.
