Automotive Keys 2012-2024 Ford / 4-Button Remote Head Key Vancouver

Twelve model years is a long run for one key, and Ford kept this four-button remote head key on its turn-key trucks, vans and SUVs well into the 2020s. The Transit, F-series work trucks and fleet Explorers are where we see it most, often on vehicles that have been through several drivers and lost their spare along the way. Lock, unlock, tailgate or trunk, and panic sit on the head. Inside are the transponder the ignition reads and the remote board. We cut the blade, program both, and test every button before you leave, with the vehicle on site. Fleet managers ask us for these by the handful, and the same advice applies to everyone: make keys before you are down to one. That said, we also handle all keys lost on these at the vehicle. Ford used both edge-cut and side-milled blades in this period, so match your blade or tell us your model year and we will confirm. Bring the registration and photo ID, or for a company vehicle, proof that you are authorised to have it keyed.
