The 6-button Odyssey fob is for fully loaded vans: lock, unlock and panic, one button for each power sliding door, and a sixth for the power tailgate. If your current fob has six buttons and your van starts with a push button, this is your replacement. A 5-button fob would program, but the tailgate would no longer open from it. Higher-trim Odysseys from 2014 to 2017 typically came with this setup, so most of the vans we see with it are Touring and similar models. Let us confirm against your trim if you are not sure. The process is the same as other Honda proximity keys. We cut the emergency key hidden in the fob to your driver's door, then add the fob to the van through the diagnostic port, with the Odyssey present.
