Automotive Keys 2015-2020 Volkswagen / Audi - Transponder Key Vancouver

No buttons, no remote, just a blade and a chip. Some Volkswagen and Audi owners prefer a plain transponder key as a cheaper spare, a valet key, or a key that lives in a lockbox for the person who needs to drive the car but not open it from across the lot. It locks and unlocks the doors by turning in the lock and starts the engine because the chip in the head answers the immobiliser. Cutting comes first: we cut the blade on a code machine to match your locks. Then comes the part that takes skill on a VW or Audi, coding the chip to the car. Depending on model and year, the immobiliser may need data read from the car before a new key can be accepted, and we will tell you what yours involves before starting. That work needs the car with us, along with registration and photo ID. A working key on hand helps a great deal. Because this generation spans several platforms, ask us to confirm compatibility for your exact model and year. You can reach the counter on 604-734-7233.
