Automotive Keys 2016-2021 Honda Civic / 5-Button Smart Key / KR5V2X Vancouver

KR5V2X is the identifier printed on this generation of Civic fob, and checking for it on the back of your existing key is the fastest way to know you have the right replacement. This version has five buttons: lock, unlock, trunk, remote start and panic. Fitment we can state from the listing: 2016 to 2021 Civic Sedan EX and Sedan Touring, plus 2018 to 2021 Civic EX turbo and LX trims with the CVT that carry this fob. Civics without factory remote start use a four-button key instead. The tenth-generation Civic is popular with new drivers and commuters, and the most common calls we get are about a fob lost on transit or one whose buttons stopped working after a drop. Before replacing a fob that has simply gone quiet, try a new coin cell. To set up a new key, we cut the mechanical key hidden inside it to your driver's door, then program the fob to your Civic with the car present. Bring your registration and photo ID. We do both spares and lost-key jobs at the car. Phone 604-734-7233.
