A Wrangler is the vehicle most likely to have its doors off and its roof down, and that makes the key the main thing standing between the Jeep and anyone walking past. This flip key is for JL Wranglers from 2018 to 2021 that start with a turned key rather than a push button. The blade folds into the head, and three buttons handle lock, unlock and panic. Inside is a transponder chip and a remote board. The chip is what lets the engine run; the immobiliser checks it each time the ignition turns, so a copied blade without a programmed chip will not start the Jeep. The remote board is a separate function paired to the vehicle so the buttons work. We cut the blade from the Jeep's key code on a code machine, then program both parts at the vehicle.
