Automotive Keys 2018-2023 Ford Explorer Expedition / 5-Button Smart Key Vancouver

Five buttons on a Ford fob usually means the vehicle has everything: lock, unlock, power liftgate, remote start and panic. On the Explorer and Expedition, remote start is the double press on the circular arrow, and the liftgate button opens and on many models closes the rear hatch. If those icons appear on your fob, this is the matching replacement. Three-row family SUVs go through keys. Fobs get left in strollers, sports bags and other people's cars. Losing one is common enough that we suggest anyone with a single fob arrange a second before an all-keys-lost situation, which requires more work at the vehicle. Once we have confirmed your model and year, the steps are simple. We release the emergency blade from the fob and cut it to your door lock on a code machine. Then we connect to the SUV through the diagnostic port and add the new fob to its memory. If a fob is lost, we can remove it at the same time so it no longer starts the vehicle. The SUV, its registration and your photo ID need to be present. You can bring it to 4105 Macdonald St or ask us to come out.
