Automotive Keys 2019-2020 Ford Transit / 4-Button Flip Key Vancouver

Transit vans are fleet vehicles first, and a missing key means a crew sitting idle. This four button flip key fits 2019 and 2020 Transits with a keyed ignition. Button layouts on Transits vary with how the van was ordered, since cargo, passenger and cutaway versions lock differently, so compare the icons on your current key with ours or ask us to confirm for your van. The blade folds into the remote head. Inside is a transponder chip that the immobiliser checks every time you start the van, and a remote board for the buttons. Both are programmed through the diagnostic port, which means the van has to be with us or we come to the yard or job site. For fleet operators, a few things save time. Keep at least two working keys per van, since adding a key is easier with one already working. Label spares so they do not end up in the wrong vehicle. And when a driver leaves with a key, we can remove that key from the van's memory so it stops working. As with any programmed key, we ask for the registration and photo ID.
