Automotive Keys 2019-2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Longhorn / 6-Button Smart Key Vancouver

The Longhorn is Ram's western-themed luxury trim, and its fob carries the full set of controls. Six buttons typically mean lock, unlock, panic, remote start, tailgate and a control for the air suspension, letting you lower the truck for loading or getting in. Some trims arrange these differently, so look at your current fob and compare icons before ordering. On a Longhorn the fob is often the most used part of the truck. Owners use remote start daily, drop the tailgate from the house and lower the suspension when hitching. When one of those buttons stops working, it is usually worn contacts or a cracked case letting in moisture, not a problem with the truck. Like every Ram proximity key, this one hides a short mechanical key for the driver's door. It does not start the engine; it is for getting in when there is no power. We cut it to your lock on our code machine. We program the fob at the truck through the diagnostic port, with the Longhorn present along with its registration and your photo ID. If the only fob is lost, we can still originate a new one at the truck. Book at 4105 Macdonald St or arrange a mobile visit.
